Why does this exist?
I'm Ali, a 2x founder. I built a talent pool of 10,000 students and staffed 100+ companies including Mercor, Anthropic, and Ârc City. I also run an influencer group doing 200M+ views per month. Our CTO graduated from UT Austin at 19 and is building full-time.
After throwing 500+ attendee events IRL, I felt the disconnect with virtual "events." With more than 10 people, a Zoom call turns into a webinar, with no way to actually talk to anyone.
Synk fixes that. You prompt a world, AI builds it in your browser, and you walk around as an avatar with spatial audio: bumping into people, having side conversations, actually hanging out. No VR headset. Just share a link.
And here's the bigger picture: Gen Z and Gen Alpha treat online spaces as their third places. The Discord server, the game lobby, the group chat. That's where they hang out, not the mall. So what happens when they enter an adult world with no virtual third place, nowhere online to just exist with other people? You get the loneliest generations in history, and a loneliness epidemic the US is only starting to reckon with. Synk is the third place they're missing.
🚀 Talent networks
Founder and engineer communities, accelerators, and university orgs using Synk for networking events, career fairs, and hiring.
💜 Low-mobility communities
Bedbound, housebound, and disabled friends for whom attending events IRL is difficult or impossible. They tell us, unprompted, this would be life-changing.
We're early, scrappy, and moving fast. So instead of hiring 3 interns, we're hiring all of you. For 10 minutes each.
